By registering as a Helper, I agree that I am voluntarily participating in services and assistance requested by another SpareHand user...

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own actions and assume full liability for any risks involved during interactions, including personal injury, damage, or disputes. I release SpareHand™ from any responsibility related to incidents, misunderstandings, or legal liabilities that may arise between parties using the platform.

I confirm that I am over 18, legally eligible to work, and acting as an independent individual, not an employee or contractor of SpareHand™.

Requester Liability Waiver

By requesting help through the SpareHand™ platform, I understand that Helpers are community members offering voluntary or paid assistance...

I acknowledge SpareHand™ does not guarantee qualifications, background checks, or outcomes. I accept full responsibility for interactions, services rendered, and outcomes of the task or engagement.

I release SpareHand™ from any liability related to personal injury, property damage, or dissatisfaction, and agree that I am responsible for ensuring safety and communication throughout.

Safety Features

SpareHand™ implements multiple safety protocols to protect all users:

• ✅ Government-issued ID required to create a listing or post
• ✅ Only users age 18+ allowed on the platform
• ✅ Users must agree to all Community Agreements before participating
• ✅ No financial transactions handled by SpareHand™ — peer-to-peer only
• ✅ Live location sharing for in-person jobs (optional toggle)

Terms of Service

SpareHand™ is a peer-powered platform facilitating the exchange of local help. We do not employ any users, and all interactions are voluntary and independently agreed upon.

By using SpareHand™, you agree to treat others with respect, follow local laws, avoid discrimination or abuse, and report any violations. Violation of terms may result in permanent removal from the platform.
